Certificate Programs in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis

Applications for admission are accepted throughout the year, and matriculated students can be admitted in either the fall or spring semester.

There is one application process for the certificate programs, and applicants who are accepted may matriculate in the psychoanalytic psychotherapy program and/or the psychoanalysis program. Students choose their certificate program(s) after they are accepted and may begin coursework before making their choice.

Each applicant for the certificate programs shall satisfy the Admisssions Committee as to integrity of character and potential for personal maturation.

The Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas does not discriminate for or against applicants based upon their race, color, national origin, religion, gender, sexual preference, age, or physical handicap.

All matriculated students must be State licensed.

The Admissions process will include a series of interviews that will assess eligibility and suitability for training and clinical aptitude.

A non-refundable application fee of $150 should be included with the application form.
