Individuals from various educational backgrounds who plan to incorporate psychoanalytic theory into their work for purposes other than research are eligible to apply for training as a matriculated academic student in the psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis certificate programs.

Academic students undertake personal psychoanalysis or psychoanalytic psychotherapy and participate in the certificate program's required curriculum.
